Overview

There are a number of forms of Lycanthropy that have been identified by Quincunx.

Clinical Lycanthropy

Clinical Lycanthropy is considered by most of the world to be a psychological illness where a person believes they are an animal or are capable of turning into an animal. The Quincunx Corporation has found that at least half of all cases of Clinical Lycanthropy aren't merely a psychological disease, but are in fact metaphysical or somatic lycanthropes who don't realise the truth of their condition (Typically [orphan | orphans] yet to be inducted into a court).

Of course there are still clinical lycanthropes purely afflicted by psychological problems, but these are far less likely than the psychiatric profession would like the public to know.
